According to the scale (most hated invention known to man...woman), I gained back 6 pounds over the weekend!! I don't think I even ate a total of 6 pounds of food! I know that's not how it works but I'm just saying. I think there might be something wrong with me. I'm going to right down everything I eat and everything I do for the next month and see what happens. If I'm not happy, I'm going to a doctor.
As week three begins I have a confession to make. I went out to dinner last night and REALLY blew my diet!! I had escargot, salad, bread, crab and shrimp, and dessert! I must start to exercise this week and really stick to my diet. As usually, here's my menu. It's similar to the past two weeks with a few changes.

I am not ready to admit to the world the number that is my weight but I will tell you my progress.
4/5 - Start weight
4/14 - 7 pound less than start weight
Since I'm so heavy, I think the first 20-30 pounds is going to go quick.
I haven't been doing as well at the exercise part of this diet that I would like and I need to step it up. I do have to say that I did exercise more last week than I have a a LONG time so that's good. I walked 6 miles for exercise (and to get my teeth whitened)!
My first major goal is to drop 50 pounds by the end of September. My husband and I are meeting my family out in Vegas for a vacation and I'd love to surprise them.
I'll keep updating things here for posterity since Rebecca is the only person in the world who knows this is here. I'm not ready for everyone to know about this blog yet.

So far so good! I've been better than I could have hoped for! I ruined the dinner I had planned last night but managed to make a healthy substitute instead of ordering pizza! Good for me! I stepped on the scale this morning and it says I'm already down 4 pounds! Since I'm so heavy, It's going to take about 40 for anyone to really notice. Oh well! I have a ton of work to do!
I saw a commercial on TV for alli. A weight loss drug that is being pushed right now. I'm not sure if it's new or not but it doesn't sound good AT ALL! After reading reviews containing such words like anal leakage and extreme gas, OH, and my favorite squirts. I found this awesome website that is too funny not to share! The author of the site goes through the list of "treatment effects" and translates them. Here's a little tidbit! (Text from alli package is in bold)

Everything is going pretty good. I'm hungry a lot but I'm getting use to it. I have to figure out what I'm cooking for dinner on Saturday because Mike did not like the meatloaf. I liked it...with ketchup! I'll let you know what I decide on. So far, next week is looking a lot like this week as far as food goes. I'm pretty happy with it so far.
