Last night, I made steak salads for dinner. My husband didn't think they were going to be filling. It was a STEAK salad not a healthy salad. I'm not sure I've ever had a healthy salad. I LOVE blue cheese and, most of the time, only have a salad so I can have blue cheese.
Here are some things I bought to try to help me in my goal to be healthier:

Activia
I also bought more damn Girl Scout cookies! I wish those girl scouts weren't so tasty!
Let's give this another try and I'm going to keep trying until I get it right! This week is the perfect week to try to change my eating habits again. We're broke. Mike and I paid a bunch of bills this weekend and so we're out of money for the week. It does feel good to have all the bills paid but I would love to not cook...ever. Maybe one day, I'll get my wish. Which reminds me, I'd better start buying those lottery tickets!
So far today, I've had a granola bar and fitness water. I did take my vitamins and I'm getting ready to eat a yogurt. I plan on going home for lunch and having cereal. I need to finish my soy milk before it goes bad. Mike's not going to like me because I'm going to ask him to pick more up for me tomorrow on his way home from work. It's good and I like it.
I'm not sure if I'm gong to be eating healthy this week but I am going to be eating what we have in the house. I'm also going to try not to continue to eat once a meal is over. I don't know if it's because I quit smoking or if there's something wrong with me but I can't seem to stop eating. I think I could eat 24/7 and still not be full. I'm going to check on WebMD to see if they have any ideas. I'll let you know if I find something.

I had a small victory today. I was at the store and I REALLY wanted Ben & Jerry's Willie Nelson's Peach Cobbler. I had it in my hand but I put it back! I got all natural fruit pops instead. They do not taste any where near as good as the Ben & Jerry's would have but I feel better about myself!! Now if I could only start exercising.
I've decided that this is going to be the place for my diet blog. I had one over at Blogger but I was listed first in my profile and I wanted people that saw my profile to go to my other blog. My other blog is more interesting. Anyway, to catch you up, I have recently quit smoking and now I want to lose weight. I want my husband to find me sexy again. He says he still thinks I'm sexy but it doesn't seem that way to me. Right now I have been 8 days with out a soda and 8 days with out alcohol. I've also been getting in at least 8 8oz. glasses of water. I think my face is clearing up but I don't think anything else has changed.
I'll post more when I start exercising.
